RECAP :) September-November

So, I know I suck at this blogging thing! I promise I probably get on every day to catch up on everyone else's lives! HAHAHA, maybe I should try and do some short posts every once in a while! LOL

So my life right now is pretty much as busy and boring as ever. Tons and tons of work! I work full time at the elementary school Edith Bowen...this is my 4th year there. I used to LOVE it. I am a special education aide there...well up until recently when they decided my student was doing so great (YAY:) that he didn't need me as much. Well instead of moving me to someone else, they put me in a lonely cubical full of paperwork. LOL I pretty much hate it- hahaha I should be grateful for me job and I am..but its just hard going from absolutly loving my job so much I wouldn't even think of moving and getting married this school year, to every morning dread for work...and maybe moving up the wedding bell plans-hahaha Don't worry there is still NO ring yet..so don't mark those calendars yet!...I am also working part time at Maurices in the mall..so between the two--I am BUSY, TIRED, and POOR--hahahaha I am horrible at saving money!

Josh and I are still going strong! LOL We have officially been together for 7 months and dating for 9 months. I love him! Its still crazy, I can't believe that our story worked out jow it did...for those of you who don't know. Josh was one of my brothers companions on his mission in California. I saw a video the two of them made on their mission and thought it was so funny! My family joked from that moment that we would be perfect for each other! LOL, I secretly thought he was adorably cute! My friends and I would mention him in our home movies (yeah, we are lame and make stupid videos of ourselves)..but we would from like forever ago! And now some letters back and forth, 2 homecomings, a lost bet for the superbowl, tons of dates, and a bazillion miles on my car..here we are! LOL Sometimes people ask if I am worried that I dont have a ring yet- and to them I say NO! HAHAHA, we are having fun, taking it slow...and it will happen eventually ;) LOL

Other than that...hmmm.... Life is just peachy :) I turned 23 on November 8th this year..it sounds OLD to me! It was really fun! No pictures from the parties, but I was very spoiled! I received the most beautiful bouquet from Josh! It was amazing! And to show that I am not really THAT old..I am SO excited for Twilight 4 coming on Friday! HAHA-they are so stupid, but they are my guilty pleasure okay!

I love this time of year! Well..only the holidays! Once January hits I am ready for Summer vacation! I HATE snow--okay i dont hate snow..I hate snow and ice on the roads and side walks! I swear no one slips as much as me! HAHAHA Fall was amazing and I will post some pics to recap August-November so far :) Enjoy! Oh and PS- the bestie, Sister Shayna Robinette, will return from her mission on December 17, 2011 and her homecoming will be the following day! I am so excited! 33 days until she gets home! She is such an amazing missionary and I can't wait til she is back home!

Summer 2011

So this Summer has been AMAZING so far! By far, probably my best summer ever! Hmmmm...maybe because I'm finally getting some summer LoVe'N ---hahaha But really! Its so fun having someone to actually do stuff with and go places with! So far we've been camping, four wheeling, rodeoing, to the fair, baseball games, Lagoon, riding down snowy Mtns on our butts, catching salamanders, and tons more! It has been so fun, and I can't wait to go on more adventures with my Joshy :) LOL Here are just some random pics of SuMmeR 2011 so far! Oh, and all those who thought I was too much of a priss to do all this stuff- who's laughing NOW~ LOL ;) However...just wait for the day when I take him McBride shopping--we're talking a full day Park City event! LOL, it will be awesome to watch him squirm for once- LOL, JK, I really do love the guy!

So its been a while....a LONG while!

So lets see, its been probably almost 2 years since I've posted! LOL- but better late than never...right? So lets see...I guess this post will just be a big recap of the last year and a half! So 2010 in a nutshell, My best friend Shayna left on her mission to Riverside CA- yup, the exact same mission as my brother Patrick! They were even in the same district for a while! She returns in December of 2011. I can not wait til my bestie is home! She is doing an amazing job out in California! She is such an awesome missionary!

From June-August of 2010- I moved down to Jacob Lake Arizona! It was an experience! I'll tell you that much! I think Jacob Lake must be like childbirth- LOL, you must forget all the pain and hard work itis, because some part of you wants to go back and do it again! LOL, I think if I ever went back, I'd go with someone I know. It was really hard to join mid-year when everyone had already formed their groups and cliques and stuff. I still had a really cool time. Lets face it..most of the time I hated being there, but I wouldn't tkae it back. I got to experience some really cool experiences!

In April of 2010, my family and I decided to do a weightloss challenge. I was finally ready to shed some lbs! I can finally say that I'm doing it! I have always had a hard time with my weight! ALWAYS....I remember in 4th grade being self conscious about it. But I couldn never get the will power or motivation to actually do it...to lose the weight! This year I finally stopped losing weight for the wrong reasons. Its not about looking hot and doing it for others. I know that I need to lose weight so that I'm healthier and so that I feel better about myself. Losing weight is a long process, its still ongoing and it always will be. There is no quick fix- and that took some time to realize. I'm glad to say that from one year ago, I am 70lbs. lighter and still going strong! Its still hard and an everyday battle! I am still tempted to go get a coke everyday- it sounds delicious! But I'm stronger now, and that in itself helps!

In December of 2010- I moved out! HAHAHA, what was supposed to be just aorund 3 months of moving back home to the parentals turned into almost 2 years! Oh jeeze- hahaha. I finally decided I needed to take a few chances and move out with complete strangers! It was definitely crazy and scary! But the experience has been awesome! Ilive with 2 other girls, and we're all students at USU! I finally feel like I'm getting a real college experience! I am still working a ton! In December I was working 3 jobs! 2 part time at Bath & Body Works and Maurices and then a full time job as a special education specialist at Edith Bowen Lab. School. I was also a fulltime student! It was nuts! This semester I'm taking it a little easier with less classes and only 2 jobs! Maurices and Edith Bowen! I love my jobs, I couldn't ask for better ones!

*So this past Saturday My friends Shayna & I took our friend Erin to Salt Lake City for her birthday. Though she volunteered to drive- LOL. Which is probably best because both are cars kinda suck these days! Anyways, we went down and got to SLC around noon and ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. it was sooooo good! MMMMMM- Not one of us had ever been to one before. I had the Red Velvet cheesecake and I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Yum, I only ate half though- it was too huge (whoops for my diet that day;p) Then we drove over to the Gateway and did some shopping and watched a laser show and a 3-D imax movie. It was a really fun day! Then later we thought we try to fulfill one of Erin's dreams and go clubbing. So we went to this one called Bliss, because we heard they let in under 21-ers just put them somewhere else...and to tell you the truth- I was scared to death!-LOL, I'm just not the clubbing type- right? So we go and there are these gangster type guys asking the security guys if it was 'gay night', I thought he said yes, so when we got closer and those guys walked away- I asked the security guy ( a very cute Tongan guy:) if it was gay night, when these 2 guys walked past us in tight spandex shirts with holes all over- and then the security guy looks at me and goes, "that should answer your question." LOL- it was funny. So Erin still just wanted to look around..so I asked if it was okay that we just go in and take a look around, and low and behold he slips me a V.I.P pass! woot woot..He checked my ID and I am not 21 til November, he looks at me and lets me go by..we walk in to the club and I almost make it down the hall to turn the corner when another guy stops me and says hey can i check your ID- So he cards me! Slips it through the machine and guess who;s still not 21 :( so we couldn't go in...they said they used to have an under 21 section but not anymore. I was so close to that turn but now we wont know whats around the corner for a while at least- LOL but I did get past the first set of security which is a plus!

They told us of another club called 'Studio 600' which allows under 21, so we went there, under my protest of course. I really didn't want to go...but it was for Erin's Birthday! So we go, and ugh- i didn't like it! LOL I felt like I was at a dirty middle school dance...it was awkward! Oh well, I'm glad my friends had a good time, and even gladder that we only stayed about an hour! LOL Well- Happy 20th Birthday Erin!!!
